10 Million Workers?
Australian Employment reached 9,810,500 in December 2004 with an all-time-recorded-history record low unemployment rate of 5.1%. Employment has risen at a rate of 2.0%pa over the last 10 years while total population has risen at 1.2%pa. If this rate of employment growth continues, total workers will reach 10 million by the end of this year.
