Stockmarket Index hits 5000
Share investors rose to give a standing ovation yesterday as the All Ordinaries Index lifted it's bat on hitting 5000. The All Ordinaries index which reached 4000 only 15 months ago in December 2004, closed at 5001.6 on Friday 24th March. We have updated our 1000 milestones Miscellaneous Chart in Research Centre.
