Oz Houses over $400K
Average Australian House prices reached $412,000 in the June quarter of 2006 passing the $400K milestone for the first time. National increases for the quarter averaged 3.3%, the highest since the December quarter of 2003 when the increase was 6%. Nevertheless it's been a pretty quiet period recently (except for Perth and Darwin) with the national average house price increase only 2%pa over the past two years.
