Inflation Climate Changing
Australia's annual rate of inflation has hit 4.5%pa for the year to June 2008. Previous highs have been 6% in 2000 when GST was introduced, 4.5% in 1995 and 7.7% in 1990. Average inflation over the last 20 years has been 3.1%.
