Dick Smith Rocks
This week saw the release of a book which we predict will change the course of young people's thinking on how we live, what we consume and why economics has lead us astray. It's 'Dick Smiths Population Crisis' and it puts the finger squarely on the essential cause of looming climate change, pollution and food shortage - it's too many people! Yes it supports taxing carbon as a stop gap, but it makes a convincing case for the ultimate goal of getting population stable and reduced. It has the thirst quenching answers our political leaders are unable to give.
Dick's book is written in simple direct terms and quotes essential references for those who wish to dig deeper on the depletion of finite resources and the people problem we have. It's the most significant book since 'Limits to Growth'
