New Generation Voters
Major changes are afoot with rising and falling cultural generations of voters in Australia. The recent State Election in Victoria which surprised media commentators is not so surprising to demographers.
We have used the last three Census data to demonstrate the changes in year of birth cohorts. Between 2006 and 2016 the rising generations of voting age increase by 7.3 million while the declining generations reduce by 1.1million. Who will be the Macron of Oz?
